Does anyone know any good car insurance companies cheap like NFU, i have a few mates who are insured with NFU and theyre payin £300 a year, when i come to try they have stopped and only insuring over 25's as of december. Is anyone aware of other companies who do cheap insurance ?

Try price comparison sites to find the best deal.

They search all insurers so you don't have to :)

thanks, but dont these search through just the big ones that charge like £1,500 - £2000 for 18 year olds !!

They search through a lot of insurers, just try it and see.

It's going to be expensive wherever if you're only 18 and depending on what car you have :)

You are best off checking all of the price comparison sites.

You probably won't find insurance for £300. My boyfriend has been driving for 3 years and is 23, the best deal we could find on a S reg saxo 1litre was £700 :P

hmm thats odd, I got insured in April with NFU, and even though Im above 25, they gave me an extra yrs no claims which they usually give to new drivers as a start!!!

quinn direct have discounts for young drivers

go through Quidco and get some cash back... can vary between £25 to £130 on some companies

when i was looking to insure my first car i found directline to be the cheapest for me by about £60
