I dont know about search engines, but I used them all and they all were rubbush with hidden extras and stuff like that. On Ciao, looked at reviews and saw that NFU mutual was quite high with a lot of reviews. Looked at their website and they didnt have an online facility. So gave them a call, and walla 20 mins later, was £200 cheaper than anything else on the market!! And the best part is, the phone rings and a human picks it up, just like th eold days, no press 1 for this or 2 for that rubbish!! Try them.

go through quidco - go compare and get £2

Use the guide on Moneysavingexpert - it uses gocompare, confused, money supermarket and one other. Find the best price - then see what the cashback sites are offering Quidco and cashbackkings can give up to another £100 off at present.

Thanks all for the help

Yeah I usually use the top four mentioned above, then I requote via Quidco etc to check the prices. making sure I have looked at companies not included in the above, once I have found the cheapest price I contact our current insurer, and check whether they can price match. Its takes a few hours but I usually save alot this way.

This is what I did and got a fab deal through swiftcover and cashback too (think it was £45)
