I am looking for a car sat nav for basic use for budget around £100. I mainly use in London and don't really travel outside UK but free EU maps and live traffic update will be useful. I was looking Garmin and can anyone suggest what model to go for?

Got an old phone. Use that. Less mess messing about and you don't need data or even a sim card in phone. just use one of the fully installed satnav apps. I don't think there is anything better than Google maps though which you will need a sim for. Traffic alerts are brilliant. If you must have a Garmin then source the cheapest one as that will do the job you want

the 5" garmin has excellent reviews and circa £79.

I've had a couple of brands over the years and find TomTom the best/easiest, several models below your budget of £100, Your text here

Be wary of using a phone, as obviously you can't navigate the menus whilst in control of your vehicle.
