Hi all,
I'm after some polish, T-Cut (or equivalent) and some stuff for restoring black bumpers. Something like the Autoglym http://www.autoglym.co.uk/enGB/product-proddetail.asp?v06VQ=HD&Range=1 Super Resin Polish and http://www.autoglym.co.uk/enGB/product-proddetail.asp?v06VQ=EM&Range=1 Bumper Care which I've had the specifically recommended to me, but I am prepared to look at other suggestions. I'm also after polishing cloths, Chamois, cleaning brush etc....basically the works care care wise.

I'm not really sure where to start on this one, I have found a few sites like http://www.4wheelplay.co.uk/ and http://www.motormania.co.uk/ but I'm not sure if they're any good or not, so any recommendations of good sites/prices?

Cheers

Hi, not seen you post for a while. Tesco's direct sell the resin polish in a pack, not sure how good the value (£15) is but you might be able to work out a bargain using the £5 off codes/75% reductions/sim card cheat. That 4wheelplay site offers free delivery and seems to stock everything mind, probably worth a punt?

I bought a huge chamois from Aldi, juts cut and use it was only a few quid. Also bought the car care kit from costco by turtle wax, get shampoo, wax, chamois, cloth, tyre shine, window cleaner, interior cleaner etc wsa about £15 for the lot and the nice bag it came in.

Have you got a quality save/home bargains near you? My local one has quite a few things including a chamois (£3.99), wheel cleaner (99p), tyre shine (99p) and a few polishes (can't remeber prices).

Yeah I'm busy busy busy at the moment, damn thesis writing :).

I'm tempted by the Autoglym Valet Case from Argos as I can pick one up on the way home and it looks to have everything I need and more. Can anyone beat that price by enough to offset the convenience of Argos being round the corner? Best I can find is £1 cheaper.

Cheers

Yeah tell me about it. Word of advice, start writing your Thesis asap, however long you think it will take you to write up double it .

Maguires is the best out there really, although definately not the cheapest I use autoglym on the bumpers as I have the problem all Corsas do with them going grey and tbh it doesn't really do that much, but it brings DH bumpers on his car which are newer than mine up really nicely!
