hi there quick question my insurance is up for renewal with tesco bank for the car the renewal is around 60 pounds more If I get a new qoute via quidco will I be able get cashback on top as a new customer or would I still be classed as a old customer even if don't take the renewal and purchase a new policy jn that case I would go via gocompare.com to get around 25 cashback which would be best I think I should be able to get it as it as new customer or is this not classified as a new customer

ring them up they might reduce the renewal, hastings do for me every year, renewals are always more

exactly - just cancel it and say you can get it for £60 cheaper (at least) and they generally match it ime

renewal is 452 and new qoute with tesco is 400 was wondering if I would get 40 pounds off quidco or they would consider me a old customer if I did that

Dont rely on Tesco Bank insurance to pay cashback - I got my car insurance from them in April and quido quoted £40 cashback, which was then declined as i "didnt qualify" no detail is to why, so they are bad enough with a new customer so I doubt an existing one stands any

Had I not paid in full up front id have dumped them for the cashback handling

Check out the insurers which aren't on comparison sites like aviva.
Recently switched from tesco to aviva not only where they cheaper they had a £60 cash back which got paid in really quickly.

As for using quick with tesco check the t and c normally it's new policy not new customer with most insurance cashback

I did this the other year via tcb and received the £42 they were offering, renewel was like £700+ where as a new quote was about £485 + cashback on top.
Just go for new quote as you have nothing too lose
