Anyone else get the pathetic email from Quidco today about the casino.com cashback which has been in dispute for over a year? Quidco make us wait all that time and then as per usual send this:

"I’m very sorry to inform you that on this occasion your claim has been declined because you did not meet the terms and conditions of their offer. We were not provided with specific details about which terms and conditions you did not fulfil but we’d like to assure you that we have looked into this for you further, prior to contacting you today, as we like to do everything we can to obtain payment for you."

What an utter crock of **** from Quidco, more like they pocketed it and didn't bother pursuing it.
Quidco have gone completely downhill, support is next to useless, even TCB support (which is bad) still out- perform Quidco by a long shot.

You do realise it's the retailer that usually makes excuses not to honor deals not quidco. Never except cash back as it's never guaranteed to track and pay out
#2
yes me too, never using quidco again, looks like they declined everyone but come up with the excuse that we didn't meet the terms which we all obviously did
#3
Out of dozens of transactions I've only ever had 1 cancelled for no reasons and when I contact them, they issued me the funds anyway. Quidco have been great for me. Much better than TCB which never tracks anything for me.

It's probably gaming / gambling sites. I followed the rules with TCB and signed up to ladbrokes who subsequently declined the cashback after I had deliberately ensured everything was done correctly. Needless to say I won't be trying anything else like that again.

After some back and forth messages with Quidco, they sent this.....

"I can see that the cashback has been declined in error and we are now investigating this issue further so we have sent the claim back to the retailer for you."

What are Quidco playing at? For anyone who was declined, get back onto quidco and don't give up :|

I got the same one, It's Casino.com that are the scammers not Quidco.

Luckily I manged to win over £200 so still made a nice profit :).

I got the same reply too, why dont they just take them to court to make them pay

Hi @Sharpharp,

I'm very sorry to hear your cashback was declined, unfortunately I cannot discuss details of your account on a public forum however from what I can see the retailer initially provided us with the response that you did not meet the terms and conditions of the offer. As you feel you have met the terms and conditions, we are now looking into this further for you.

Please be assured it is the retailer that provides us with the update as to whether cashback has been successful or rejected. we have absolutely nothing to gain when your cashback is declined and so we'll always do our best to resolve the problem for you and retrieve the cashback.

I hope the team manages to find a positive resolution for you.

Kind Regards,

when I see this, it seems to me like the intermediary (quidco/TCB) is being given the run-around. when it's happening on a scale like this (i.e. not just one person querying a £2.88 cashback from sports direct), i would expect both quidco and TCB do their utmost to get the cashback for their customers and not risk bad sentiment amongst their users. they could quite happily cut their ties with casino.com for messing around, but need to hold onto their members because both are aware their users have a very viable alternative if they prove unreliable.
i think i've seen this a few times before where companies offer huge cashbacks without doing their sums then backtrack or pull out completely, messing around everyone involved.

Same thing happened to me. What I've learnt from this experience is before you cash out after fulfilling their wager requirement take a screenshot of your hand history (this will have time and date and hand #). I've just been on casino.com looking for my hand history and you can only view the last 30 days which is pointless because I done this offer way before that.

To Quidcos merit they have agreed to give me the cashback and chase it up with Casino.com themselves, I gave them a link to this thread :).

Jack, why are Quidco agreeing to pay some members like shauneco the cashback and then Quidco will chase casino.com themselves and yet others like me have got the message "As soon as we have further updates we will notify you"...

Quidco should do the right thing here and pay all outstanding members the cashback (who got rejected by casino.com, but confirmed by Quidco with the "I can see that the cashback has been declined in error and we are now investigating this issue further so we have sent the claim back to the retailer for you.") message and then Quidco can chase casino.com for as long as it takes

This issue has gone on over a year now and this public forum is one way for Quidco members to join together to highlight these issues. If quidco pick and choose members to pay and then chase up later (for the same retailer and offer), it's unfair on the rest...
