Are CeX Stock Levels correct?

Hi, looking for a few titles to buy from cex in store this week. They don't appear to have any in stock for my branch according to the online stock levels, but is this always up to date?

Was tempted to go in this week and check but maybe there's no point?

Thanks

Bit of a pointless question to ask on here as its impossible to answer. Why don't you ring them up before you go

Probably reasonably so but not for certain. For example, in one case when I was trying to find something shown as in stock on the website it wasn't available in store. When I asked about this, the store's staff told me that it had just been sent out to fulfill another order.

When you call them it says you have to email them.

Stock levels are usually fairly good in my experience, but is used for fulfilling online orders. I've had a bigger prob with items showing as in stock but the box has been nicked so they only have the disc(s). Occasionally you'll also find a single disc version has been put on their system as a double disc or vice versa or it's a different version of the same title if stock's been received & manually input rather than barcoded.

I basically want Resident Evil for the Wii but it's never in my branch. Wondered if it was worth popping in.

There's of course no harm if you're passing, but I wouldn't make a special trip - you'd have to be very lucky to find something not reported on the website, especially for non-current systems. eBay's probably your best bet other than a listing in FS/FT here.

I'd say no as I looked online and went INSTORE for a item and they found the case but no game lol

I've bought quite a few things and personally I've never had an issue with this. If it says in stock online, it's always been in stock in store
