Hi, I jus got my PS3 and am very new to all this.

Does anyone know of any charging stand that can charge 2 PS3 Dualshock 3 controllers? I read some here but couldn't find them.

Which ones are good? And of course I would like them as cheap as possible (but not in expense of quality).

Thanks in advance!

p/s: I would like a charger using external source, ie not from PS3 USB.

There was another one which had a pyramid shape (very pointless and takes alot of space! but pretty..). Other than that, all the styles are listed here already IIRC :)

Yeah get the pelican one! I got one for xmas, it also has 2 USB ports on the side so you can connect more stuff to it for charging. I currently use them for my bluetooth headset and tp charge my mp3 player. Or use it to charge 2 more pads!

I think play do the pelican one as well.

My Brother Has the Pelican

its working fine and the 2 extra ports are great

it looks pretty snazzy too when the controllers are charging

This one is £7.47 delivered from Amazon.

To charger the units check the back of your Sky/Cable/Freeview box. If they have a USB port (usually used for firmware updates) then you can probably use this to power the charging stand and not have to plug another power unit in to the wall.

If you have a laptop that happens to be closer to where you are sat than your PS3 you can charge your pads off this, just a random bit of tippage. Doesn't need to be plugged into mains to charge pad either (as long as your laptop battery is charged of course :) )

Only relevant if you dont want to be sat on top of your PS3 while charging your pads and playing. :-D
