im not certain about Jersey but the cheapest way to get to gsy is to fly with aurigny or flybe, unless you want to bring your car of course!
Try might have some more links the jersey site's not up & running yet
I usually use flybe to fly back home to Jersey, they are normally the cheapest.

Couple of Jersey sites for you:

And is the quickest way to travel between the islands (done it so many times, being born in Guernsey and then living in Jersey for a long time), and also once in Guernsey you can visit Herm and Sark by boat which doesnt take very long

I find Flybe to be pretty poor, the prices go up loads, service is poor, frequently delayed, and have to pay for baggage.

I frequently use BMI (Heathrow) or BA (Gatwick). I've also used the condor, but its about the same price as flying.

if you're looking for place to stay maybe look on the jersey insight website. Often people advertise holiday homes under classifieds
In my experience, flybe have been excellent - always on time and nice, new aircraft. BA & BMI are good airlines too, but tend to be more expensive than necessary for a short flight.

If you want a nice, lo cost airline, your best bet with be ThomsonFly - they fly from Coventry & Bournemouth to Jersey, most days of the week. Cheaper than most of the airlines, and a nice fleet of boeing 737 aircraft :)
