How about this Emjoi AP-9P (open box, but like new from Amazon) £17.62: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000ANK0DO/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all

".....may be used on legs, underarms, bikini line and stray hairs on the face." Reviews look positive too...usually around £25 on Amazon.

Not quite the same thing, but I bought a friend the Emjoi MicroPedi device which gets rave reviews, so Emjoi are pretty decent.

A lot of the new Braun ones are on eBay for about £40.

cheap isn't a good idea. either it will hurt like hell or it'll be inefficient. for cheap try your local market for the buffer pad jobbies. they're cheap, fast, painless (almost) but the effects dont last long.....

nooo I want an epilator below 50 pound!! not a buffer pad or argos value a good one but that dont cost a bomb

Shame you weren't nearby, I'd just give you mine! I used to do it faithfully for a few months but the uneven-ness put me off: the Braun I have only catches "some" hairs and it got too frustrating for me.

I can do most areas, but I'd never do bikini line (some women use an epilator there!!!) and underarms was just too ouchie, even with an ice patch beforehand. Tesco had some at silly prices, but it's probably just store-specific.

Cheap is definitely not good if you intend on using it elsewhere other than legs!

I have had a few over the years and also epliate underarms and bikini line. You will need a good all over body one,wet and dry ones are good.
I have a Braun one that I have had for a few years now, originally paid around £120 but sure there will be cheaper now.
Remember to exfoliate regularly to prevent ingrowing hairs :)

I wouldn't recommend using one on my face,if you need to remove hair then waxing or electrolysis would be my choice.
