My Niece wants some Nike Air max for Christmas, I have tried to get her to have something nicer but she is adamant, has anyone seen any cheap deals anywhere. She is a size four.

Do u have a outlet shopping centre near you...those are usually the best places..sometimes tkmaxx sells Nike too..i personally never buy them from jd sports etc.. so overpriced xx
#2
I'll have a look in Tk Maxx, I hadn't thought of there.
#3
Sports direct usually have them quite cheap in children sizes.
Or a nike outlet store?
#4
Are these to be for fashion or sport? because the soles are very different on Air Max and some are for fashion only. As above Sports Direct are normally the best prices and she might like to try them on in a shop before you buy because Nikes are made on the smallish side. JD will have them as well although they are more expensive.

Size four will be £60. With 10% off you're looking at £54. I can give you s code for 10% off Office, Schuh or USC. Outlet stores sell some hideous Air Maxes. The best ones to get are all black and all white.

Surely its up to the op about the colour she would like to get. To be fair they are for a girl so maybe black and white is not what she is after.

My girlfriend has the all white ones and they look cool. She hates the coloured ones as its always purple mixed with a fluorescent green or blue. Looks hideous. Depends also on if her niece wants Air Max 90's or 95's. The former are more dear but look better.

Go onto Ebay you will find them cheaper there.
#13
But be careful as eBay can be riddled with fakes
#14
A lot of fakes on eBay, agree with DennisG! I've sold genuine footwear on eBay for four years and often undercut by fakers! I guess it helps knowing how to spot a fake! With that said, I had a case last night having sold a vintage look pair of blazers, buyer said they were used as soles were discoloured!! Erm... Supposed to look like that?!

That's awful ebay selling fake shoes I never knew that thanks for sharing <3
and the feedback won't say either as I have checked for these in the past.

It's easy to spot a Nike fake, bearing in mind, official Nike trainers are mostly made in undeveloped countries for peanuts, with that said, the PSi in the air bubble is a give away! Each Nike trainer has a unique code which is always a 6 digit number followed by 3 digits identifying the trainer and colour. This is easy to replicate on tags and boxes but not on the side or tongue label.

Some achieve this but the stitching and glue used is also a giveaway! Adidas on the other hand are more harder to spot, All the tags and codes in the right places however, leather is not leather, often turns pink or grey and suede is not suede. It's a battle and if a fake product is cheaper, people will buy it not realising.

eBay, although I'm despising it at the minute, just ask the question before listing, is it authentic! Anyone could click yes!! They get their money, why are they really bothered?

Agree with this!! Genuine Nike's are made in countries like Vietnam etc however, there are websites that offer all trainers, most of which were limited and not available now but seem to have plenty of stock in all sizes!! Fine if you want a cheap pair, not legit thou. Build quality is awful!

Hi All, thanks for your comments and links, despite this I can't find a pair I think she will like within the budget. She may have to have something else at this rate.

Hello x it's a nosey question but what's your maximum spend please? people will most likely still try to help and will try for a substitute if that helps. I was looking at Nikes today with my oldest and found a store in a designer outlet with great prices which may help if you have any of these nearby? The staff were very good and told me about additional discounts on clearance items that runs during weekends, thing is the stock changes frequently so you have to visit the store and it would also be good for your niece to try them on as sizes do vary a little in Nikes. We didn't get Nikes as he's getting fussy and ended up going to Schuh where he was happy with a different brand and I noticed that they have some good deals on the girly type trainers so that might be worth a try look at their online store maybe. There are very good comments on fake shoes on here which is very interesting, I wouldn't mind fake other things but definitely not footwear that's a terrible thing to be selling. Actually that's incorrect I do mind fakes if they don't say that they are.

Good luck and have a lovely evening <3
