Cheap raw hide dog chews needed

I have recently adopted a 7 month old puppy. To save my furniture, clothes, childrens toys etc I have been trying to keep him in chews. I've been getting bargain bags from pets at home for £5 but they have stopped doing them. There must be cheaper places to buy them. I don't want little ones they must keep him occupied for a good few hours.
It probably wouldn't be too expensive except that when I give him one I also have to give my other 2 dogs one.
Anyone know of any good sites with cheap delivery, or somewhere in the Birmingham area.
Thanks, rep given to all helpful posts.

They used to sell them at Wilkinsons when I worked there, might be worth a look, :)

How about the little brown nylabone for puppies instead, the other two can have their appropriate nylabones as well. Not cheap but last and last and loved!!

He ate the nylabone!! That was our original plan but he chewed off chunks of it. The ones in my wilko are quite small but I will just have a check on the website. Cheers

What sort of puppy is he???
Don't know if it's the same where you are but our local garden centre does rawhide chews cheaper than any where else near by.

Little ones here - just googling!!

He's a terrier/ border collie type cross. Only a the size of a small spaniel but likes to chew. I've bought him other things like a kong and a play ball you put treats in, but he is not interested in them at all!

Buy him some paddywack. I buy big boxes online for my 2 dogs - both big dogs just over a year old and chewers - they ate two sofas between them! Cheapest place for paddywack is www.a1petstop.co.uk. I buy all the chewy things for my dogs from there as they deliver free over a certain price (seems a lot to buy at once I know but it lasts ages). Also try the pigs ears - mine have a good chew on them too. Oh, they spell it paddiwack on their site btw.

Those plaited rope pulls? They last well.

Will have a good look though the sites later. Think I will have to buy in bulk. He does use the rope pulls but also wanted something for him to eat aswell. Thanks again for your help, rep given to you all

Hi,

I've got 3 dogs and never give them rawhide as some vets believe that the small parts they chew off can dogsdamage the dogs health.
Our dogs are real chewers and we have found that nylabone are very good for their teeth and you can get them in all differnt size, shapes and colours, and even flavours. You can get them in pets at home.
agood place to shop for dog stuff in general in Wilkinsons as they are quite resonably priced. They do piggy bones which are a bit like rawhide but are pressed poerk and much better for the dogs. They are about 99p for 2 but they last for hours and they come in lots of different shapes.

Anyone know any good, very secure dog carriers? my westie has now escaped from 2 differnt kinds and seems to have teeth like razor blades!
