Hi not sure on the best place for this but i assume that this is a charity type thing? what about the local press doing a piece on you to see if you can get sponsership? tough in these credit crunch times but worth the thought:)

nice idea mike, thought about it but there's 6 of us students going, on 3 seperate dates in pairs. Would be quite a struggle to raise enough becuase then it would seem bias on me if i was the only one being sponsored at the end of the day.

Keep the ideas coming!! cheap websites would be great! maybe a 2 for 1 deal?

I assume that you know all the people going? can you not just expand the plan and include you all?

could do. to be honest i may try that but i would prefer to have tickets that i can just buy, mainly as a back up in case the sponsor thing doesnt fall through.. .

Of course i fully understand but as they say nothing ventured nothing gained.
Good luck and might i say i applaude you and your friends for this and to be honest i am quite envious :)

..Why don't you all fund raise together, then split the difference of whats left to pay then you all pay the least amount?

I bet you anything if you target local businesses and the paper you will be surprised how much you raise.

Car washes? Jumble sales? Raffles in local pubs? plenty of options! But you need to work for it.

i would usually fund raise....but theres not enough time to do any of that now, closest would be a sponsor...may give that a shot.

online tickets would be preferred . thanks for the ideas! keep them coming!
