Cheapest 50" plasma

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, please point me in the right direction if so.

I'm after a 50" Plasma tv as a treat. Not really fussed on getting the best one as long as I pay the least amount!

Can anyone point me in the direction of the cheapest one? I've see £1000 is a cheap benchmark (currys etc)

Thanks in advance

Why look for the cheapest??????

Surely you will be better getting a 42" with a better spec!

Buying a TV is one of the biggest purchases you can make, and you are gonna just buy the cheapest one you can get? Have a mooch on av-forums.com, lots of friendly peeps over there that will give advise, and there are loads of threads on most Panels that are out at the moment, with guideline prices and where to buy as well!

watch out for the cheap 50" ones. there are some nasty ones out there! the picture can look very pixelated.
