Cheapest Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens

I want to buy a new lens for the Canon 400d, I've seen decent reviews for the canon 50mm lens, it's a cheap lens but seems to give decent enough results for the price.

Best I could find was amazon.co.uk for £88.98.

Does anyone know of a better deal? Possible cashback offers accepted too.

Thanks

£82.95 delivered @ Play. Looks like Play marketplace to me. Not sure if you could get cashback.

Bought one at Christmas and picture quality is superb. Build quality of lens is ok, plastic mounts...

Not sure. Seller profile doesn't mention much but you can always contact them to make sure item is in stock.

They offer a duty guarantee, although I have never paid duty on any of the items I have bought from them.

Question 7,8 and 9 for info.

If you don't mind doing some work, try contacting Kerso on Ebay (his store is Flash Camera) - he also sells through the talkphotography.co.uk forums (you'll need to register first) and is very well respected. He buys stuff from the US, ships it to scotland and then sends it out from there.

He currently doesnt list the 50mm, but that doesnt mean he doesnt have them. Worth an email imho.

If you don't mind second user stuff, talkphotography often have them im their classifieds for around £60 or so, but they go very quickly.

By The way. I bought the same lens last year from Amazon. It is a fantastic lens. Don't believe all the BS from the SLR snobs. It does exactly what you need if you are a talented amateur like me :-)
