Cheapest memory card for my PSP to buy

Any ideas please?

I've ordered the SDHC MicroSD/TF to MS Pro Duo Adapter from Deal Extreme so I can combine two cards, but this won't arrive for a month by previous experiences.

Anyone know where I can get a ridicously cheap Pro Duo in the mean time, as it's gonna be a literally throw away card when the card from Deal Extreme eventually turns up?

How much memory will I need to store a few games on?

Only need a pro duo until my Deal Extreme adaptor arrives, as my plan is to buy 2 x MicroSD 8GB.

Like I said, only need a memory card until then just to store a few games on.

Will a 512MB be sufficient for this?

looking at some of the file sizes 512mb might only fit one game on but not 100% sure as i have the new psp which cant be hacked yet so i dont play backup games

Depends on the kind of game. For a small CSO you *might* be able to, for any ISO, you've got no chance. Just take a look at the size of the file of the game that you intend to play to tide you over until your monster card arrives.

Hi,

Did a little scouting online for you and I think the best place for cheap memory cards is Amazon. Last month I bought an 8GB for around £12 which was amazing! Having used my PSP alot these days I can tell you that with a 512MB pro duo card....you may barely get one game on it depending on what you want to play. Eg. If its games like Virtua Tennis, Patapon, etc (small games which dont have a lengthy story or many features) then yeh 2 games at most. But if you want games like Crisis Core or Tomb raider etc...then u need a MINIMUM of 2GB. Alot of games nowadays exceed over 1GB so bare that in mind. Then again for about £5 you could get urself a decent 2GB or more^^ Hope this helps.

I would be extremely surprised if this is a genuine card. I have never seen a genuine 8GB Pro Duo for £12 in my life.
