Is there a particular reason for having a preference to one network?

Best overall deal I can find as I want to get one on Flext 40 but cannot find anywhere with it in stock. Includes even using your phone while abroad so long as you keep within the £225, so any use you might have on your phone is allowed. Much better than Vodafone or O2 seem to offer. Even the Phones4U deals pale in comparison to this I feel.

Let me know if anyone does find a flext package that is in stock anywhere.

well right now I'm on the o2 network now hence me wanting a Sim Free or Pay and Go N97.

No contracts please.
Thanks

the n97 on pay and go is £370 at any three shop.

Having tried both I'd look at the samsung i8910. Its far, far faster if you don't need the keyboard and the onscreen keyboard actually works.

also I forgot. o2 aren't doing the N97 they are only interested in iphones at the moment.

Three are no go for me, they will be branded and Locked.

Yep I know O2 not stocking as yet but who knows they may give in soon, lets hope, so I can get my upgrade.

Best price I found for the n97 sim free so far was the 3 deal and the other deal posted on here. But so far nothing better.

SIM FREE Meaning UNLOCKED?

Im still looking for this handset mate..

Just for the update, T-mobile after speaking to about a dozen advisor's have told me that the n97 will be available on the 14th with them on all the main packages, with it being free on Flext40 and above (apparently). Not sure about the other packages and pricing as I wasn't that interested and I don't think I was meant to find it out in the first place, but as are the joys of a well planned interrogation of their telesales staff.

hmm i wounder if o2 will ever stock it, looking doubtful but they may consider after a month or two, lets see, i'd perfer a SIM FREE one, no branding etc.

I would guess that tmobile and o2 have just not paid for any sort of exclusivity. Have you tried contacting their customer service and asking? As Tmobile say nothing about the n97 until asked.

I just got my PAC code from T-mobile as they wanted £75/month for the N97 on flext75! I asked if he had a straight face when he quoted that amount to me!

Funny that considering what their rep told me. Was it just on 12 months or 18 like this deal that I am looking at myself

I brought one off someone from Gumtree It was White, Unlocked, Brand New

Apparently the White ones brought fro Phones4U are Unlocked.

Not needed now I know, but, o2 will most probably never stock the N97 themselves as they are focussing on the iPhone and Palm Pre which is due out sometime soon I believe.

Source: http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2009/07/10/no-nokia-n97-stock-yet-for-t-mobile-and-orange-o2-not-stocking/

The link isn't the page I saw the news on but it says pretty much the same thing and it also adds the fact that o2 (as well as the likes of Orange mainly) don't like the fact that Nokia have Skype preloaded onto the phone which can mean the customer can make free skype to skype calls meaning no money will be going to the networks!

I was about to say that o2 didn't even stock the N96 meaning the last high end N-Series phone they sold was the N95 range, but I just checked and they are selling the N96! Anyone know since when?!

I think you will be able to use that Sim card in the N97
