Cheapest Pair of Golf Shoes

So I'm supposed to be going on a golf day out soon. I do not want to go.

Also, to rub salt into the wound, I have just been informed there is a strict dress code, I initially thought this was a joke - surely they wouldn't employ such archaic rules as having to dress to a terrible code for absolutely no reason (no denim, no trainers, no cheque shirts amongst a million other normal and regular pieces of clothing ruled out just for the sake of being awkward)

Part of this code is a pair of golf shoes. Astroturf trainers are no good, moulded football boots are no good, regular trainers are no good, it has to be rubbish awful golf shoes.

Why? I have no idea. But I need a pair and I want the absolute cheapest ones possible, but looking at Google now I can't see a single paid under £35.

I'll wear them once. I have no idea what standard the other players will be but I cannot even drive a ball 40 yards. I will never need these again, so am understandably not keen on paying a considerable amount on something that will promptly find their way to the bin shortly after (or maybe even during) a quick round of golf.

Thank you

Well if its a company golf day, then maybe going will make him look better to all the bosses (who undoubtedly be major golf players/fans). Hence why he is going to go even though he doesn't want to.

To OP do you not know anyone who plays golf to borrow some ?!?!? millions of people must have golf shoes. so i guess if you ask around someone you know will have some you can borrow.

If it were a company golf day with the bosses do some lickage and offer to be their caddy instead. :p

Will check sports direct now thanks, I just used google originally and couldn't find anything cheap at all

Love the Happy Gilmore photo by the way! I tried playing last night at the driving range, barely got above 150 yards (not even that without it bouncing, go me!!!)
