We have a £17.50 asda smart price dvd player that we use for box sets of dvds from states,

Not sure if it works for other regions beside uk and usa but hasnt let us down and might be worth a try.

Im not sure, picked ours up instore.

Was reccommended to us by friends and can only say how delighted we are with such a cheap item, and have since advised other family members.

Green and white smart price box.

Buying a region free dvd player might be little expensive. I would suggest buying a cheap region 2 player and then get a region hack remote / cd from internet / ebay.

Toshiba SD190(£25) from richer sounds - region 2 - however apparently this works to multi region it

- Power On
- Open Tray
- Press 9879 0 (0 stands for Multiregion, you may press buttons 1 to 6 to choose a specific region)
- A Message appears stating that "The Reg.No was changed to region 0:

If you go instore then they will probably allow you to test to see if it works.
