Thats quite a request - any specifics on USB, network, supplier? Remember that often cheapest printer means most expensive to run (Lexmark for instance - imho).

Googling cheap low price inkjet printer should reap some good results. Argos have a couple for under £30 and so do Staples if you want high street retailers

Good luck

I'm not sure how much you know about printers as it's worth taking into account the cost of the ink as well as the cost of the printer itself. With many cheap printers, a full set of orginal ink is more than the cost of the printer itself. I would recommend checking for cheap compatible ink first on a site such as inkcycle and then looking at the cost of the printers themselves. It really depends on how much printing you do, but I think many mid-price (£50-70) Epson printers are good quality with fairly cheap ink available.

I agree .. a few years ago a friend got a very cheap printer, thinking iit was a bargain, but every time he had to buy ink, he was paying double the going rate; his cartridge type was not a comon one.

He had to buy the branded items only, he wasn't able to get the much cheaper unbranded ones, such as Inkrite or Jet-tec

Personally I have found the cheap printers a false economy as their Toners run out quickly and then the costs begin to rocket. Compatible inks have always been an option but again in my experience it is inferior quality and as it did with my printer, you get a bad batch and it destroys your printer.
I now use a "cheap" mono laser printer for my useless drivel I print out on a day to day business, I have a HP1018, toner cost about 30quid and last about 18 months! Always an instant print without all the purging and cleaning cycles etc...and all my colour prints I now use either Snapfish or my Local Asda
