Currys and Comet both have a hoover 1400 spin washer on offer for £189.It is triple A rated for efficiency and sems to be very good spec.If you need it straight away I think you can collect from currys stores as well.

Comet also have a Candy washer 1400 spin for £169,that is AAB rated, the 'B' rating is for spin efficiency.

altough the candy one is cheaper it is worth bearing in mind that it has a 5kg capacity as opposed to the Hoover's 6 KG capacity, basically for every 5 washes you get one free with the hoover!

the Hoover is also rated better for spin efficiency,so if you use a tumble dryer this is also worth bearing in mind.

the model numbers are Hoover HN7146 and Candy C514:)

Bare in mind with a spin speed of only 1000 your washing comes out very damp... paying an extra £50 for the 1200/1400 makes a noticable difference especially this time of year when the tumble drier is getting hammered...

It all depends on what kind of washing you do!!

You can only spin Towels and sheets @ 1200/1400... things like wools.... 400max!!

That extra £50 could be very handy... and the extra drying time during the winter month can be over come.... not every1 uses a tumble dryer, they just hang them out side or use a Clothes Dryer.

Anyways... there you go A[L]C something to wash over :-)

On my way out when I saw this request so a quick post and link:

£179.99

If you hold an Argos card I think you qualify for 6 months interest free credit.

Hope that helps.
