Memory foam is the way to go however there are so many options that its mind boggling...i paid £185 for a supekingsize memory foam mattress from a local supplier and while it takes a time getting used to, its very comfortable if a little warm at times. Do your homework via goole, ebay, local stores and im sure you can find the right one to suit your needs.
dont buy a cheap memory foam from was like sleeping on a mountain range!
we got ours fom a local supplier he put memory foam on top of a double padded sprung mattress and its heaven! if you live in our area (warrington) go see him. Hes really helpful.
cheers ROB585 & plumberman01 i was looking at some silentnight ones on argos website now not so sure lol unfortunately im in suffolk but thanks for the time to give ur opinions guys much appreciated !!!

anybody else bought a decent mattress they wanna give me some info on ?

silentnight wanted to replace mine as we couldnt sleep on it. I asked could we have another type and they efused-it has to be like for like. I agreed to the exchange and we waited 3 weeks and they still hadnt arranged it. Poor customer service.
I returned it to tjhughes in the end although they had refused me a return and said i had to contact silentnight! we took it to the store and stood at the door with it! i got my refund!
Im sue its not all their mattresses but i was told they use cheap foam although the one i bought had an RRP of around £700!

i would also recommend the myers as i got it for daughter in the last sale..its £299 or £350 for a two drawer divan but there is a code for £20 off i think somewhere and quidco...these beds from BHS seem to be lovely quality too.
cheers plumberman01 your a real star!!! a credit to this site thanks for all the info mate

hope you get it sorted soon xx
