HI, EVERYBODY

Just read about 'Talk Talk' ISP Provider. Thanks for your warning, guys, I was about to arrange a deal with them. Can anyone provide with information of ZEN, DEMON or MADASAFISH or any other competitive ISP Provider whose popularity rating is high (according to you).
Many thanks.

I am with Zen Broadband now. All I can say - perfect, but expensive. :) I did not have any serious support requests (email aliasing can not count as 'serious'), but I had several discussions with them before signing up and their guys definitely knew what they were talking about.

And, BTW, Dobro Pozhalovat' na forum:D

Thanks for the greeting.

The cheap and at the same time high rated provider I have found is Euro1net £15.99 including VAT. One has to pay connection fee of £50 if goes for a year's contract.

Thanks, I scrutinized the site yestereday and found Euro1net, a provider whose rate is higher than NTL, BT, Homechoice, Tiscali and so on, whereas the monthly price is just £15.99(incl VAT), plus unlimited downloading option makes it a worth while search. I will only have to pay a connection fee of £50 for a year's contract.

Good Morning,

May I suggest that you have a look at a provider who has LLU network at your telephone exchange.

these are such as:-

www.ukonline.co.uk
www.bulldog.co.uk

As I with www.ukonline.co.uk
there customer service in my opoinon is rubbish but so far I do not have any problems as regard to there service.

I am pay 9.99 for 1meg unlimited because of LLU.

The other provider I would suggest have a look at www.efhbroadband.co.uk

I used to be with when it 513K, unlimited this was at 9.99 special offer 12 months a ago.

Have lookas www.ispreview.co.uk

It list all the providers and feed back from users.

Thanks for your advice, pal, however I had some situations with ukonline in the past (actually with regards to their LLU) and my friend was frequently complaining about the unstable service of Bulldog ISP.

Euro1net and Demon seemed reasonably decent as both have thousands of customers.

In fact Demon has been in the market for a while and everyone I asked of responded positively.

The only issue with Euro1net is that the whole year contract's price is payable immediately with the connection fee (£191.88 respectively).

Good Morning

Just a minor point my friend use to be to demon he changed because of the name.

Now he is with pipex, because he say that they have good pipe network for the contentation rate.

I am not a isp'er man so what he say I listen, as he has 25 yrs of internet experience.

www.pipex.co.uk

best regards.

Many people on adslguide are unhappy with Pipex because they are using traffic management. Also Pipex are charging for NNTP access.
All in all, I think it is all down to personal preferences and (most important) usage pattern. If you need 24x7 full-capacity access, then pay extra to companies like Zen. If all you want is to check emails and browse some sites, then any provider should be perfect for you.

And, mahmud unless your friend was working for DARPA or US NSF, there is no way he could get 25 years of internet experience. The first TCP/IP network went live in 1983 and the first commercial ISP was created in 1989.

Hi i'm using Freedom2surfthey're pretty good, have had no probs so far.

you can opt for a rolling monthly contract or a yearly one. Speeds seem good, an comments from the adsl review forums have been good. I'm payin £24.99 a month for unlimited 8Mb connection. They're bringin out 24Mb in next couple of months too i believe, check out their site an see what u think.
Hope it helps.

Thanks, Juvi

I checked 'freedom2surf' a few days ago and must admit it had been positioned as a top provider until I found out the exchange of the area I live in would only be capable of receiving 2 Mb

You have to be careful there. Several other companies with this pricing model have gone out of business and disappeared with thousands of customers money... :!:

Thanks, Poppy, I have just fortified my decision to deal with Demon, (regardless the name) as they seem to have thousands of customers, have been on the market for a while and display a decent feedback.
