COMPUTER HELP MY FAVOURITES

hi guys does anyone know how to copy all the favourites on my laptop. im swapping laptops to the new one i got but dont know how to keep a list of all my favourities. is there an easy way to do this i have loads. your help asap would be appreciated

If you are using IE then go to File\Export if Firefox then go to bookmarks\Organize bookmars then in File menu choose Export. Or simply google it :-)

You can use Foxmarks. It keeps your bookmarks synced on every PC you use. Just download the Foxmarks program on any PC, sync to your account and you will have your bookmarks instantly. It's a good backup in case you PC fails as the sync file is stored online.

or you can just copy the entire favourites folder which will contain all your favourites and links. its in the documents and settings folder in the folder with your username

i use google toolbar cause then whatever pc u log onto u can see your favs by loging into google :)

Could go into your local profile, e.g. C:/document and settings/(then your username) - then go on my favourites and copy into same folder on other pc. Thats for IE though.
