I have two tickets for the opening night of Phoenix Nights (31st January 2015) that I now need to sell as flights from Northern Ireland to Manchester that weekend are too expensive and wouldnt make it worth my while. Problem is I am waiting for the tickets to be posted (have email confirmation) so cannot take a photo of the tickets and my name to sell on "For Sale/Trade" - could I print ticket confirmation and post that as evidence of the tickets as someone may want these for Christmas present?

This is directed at MOD and I have searched for similar questions but cant find an answer about selling them without the physical ticket?

Thanks

For me if i was buying, and you was selling on here for example, i would probably only send a part payment or pay via paypal so that i would be covered.
If you do sell them, i would make sure that you black mark out all of your personal info, ie address, bank info, and order no, thats to protect you as a seller.
When i bought some previously from twickets, we swapped phone, email, address and followed each other on facebook and twitter. It gave us both peace of mind.
Hope that helps you a little! Shame you cant go though.

Thanks tattybye - I know there is always a risk buying/selling tickets over the net and to someone you dont know but I hate touts and hate people selling tickets for more than they are worth. So where someone can get the use of them happy to do whatever that person wants to feel more comfortable.

Trying to sell the tickets here in Northern Ireland is a nightmare as everyone has to fly and once they see the flights at over £100 before accommodation it puts them right off. So I am thinking I'd get more interest from someone that can travel in car or public transport cheaper.

Gutted I cant go as I originally bought them as a Christmas present for the girlfriend but simply cannot justify paying the travel for a one night stay for this gig.

Unfortunately tickets must be tangible and in hand before they can be offered for sale so until you receive the actual tickets they cannot be listed

Thanks Sigma - Hopefully they arrive soon then - does say on the confirmation that it can take up to 5 days before the event for tickets to arrive :-(

To sell them here you need to have tickets in hand, you need to have a photo of then with your hukd name & clear view of face value amount.
I'm sure once you have them in hand you'll sell them no probs as it's going to be a well sought after show. As tattbye said you could always try twickets
