Hey,

Any cheap alternative? Looking online, it'll cost £80 per window for basic blinds in my small conservatory! I just want ones you can put up or down, not those horrible white metal vertical blinds. Got them at the moment and they've fallen apart so easily.

Cheers

Because in the summer, you can't angle them to have shade.

Where in the country are you?

People can maybe recommend some local good companies for alternatives.

I have vertical blinds through the whole house and only paid about £450. That was fitted.

I got wooden blinds from ikea cosy about £5 a blind they were the width of each window and I screwed them into the plastic frame at the top.
they look great and didn't cost a fortune.

Haha no they were around £5 a blind from my local ikea in Ashton. it was around a year ago so they may have gone up in price but nowhere near £80 a blind.
Can't see them on website. but they were in brown natural. white and black. very easy to fit.
I bought small ones for the windows and some really long ones for the doors .
I don't think think the whole room cost £50 :D .
worth a trip out

I did not realize that you could screw anything into the plastic frame? all the solutions I have seen seem to stick on rather than drill the frame?
