my xbox one console is faulty again after it was sent for repair in December (same problem) only this time it is out of warranty and they want me to pay for it.I feel it is an on-going fault and i should not pay for it.
i have tried on live chat but keep going round in circles trying to get a contact number/email to complain and ask for the repair to be free as i feel it is not fit for purpose

the trick with this is to tell us where you bought it from, when and how you paid for it.
well you dont need to tell us haha but you need to go to this web page and answer 2 simple questions.
https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/somethings-gone-wrong-with-a-purchase/return-faulty-goods/

It will then tell you your rights and what you need to do.

Hopefully Eden (I believe that's his username) will see this. He use to be an ambassador and when I had a complaint with Microsoft, with his help it was promptly resolved.

And the person you bought it from on Ebay - were they a trader or a private individual? Is your PayPal account covered by credit card or debit card?

see my edited post #1 and go to the link but I fear after 2 years this is going to be difficult. You might be better going to the people who repaired in December and complaining about the quality of the repair - was that Microsoft? Did they warrant the repair for any period?

I really feel for you - this must be damned annoying especially when you cannot get hold of anyone who sympathises. I can only suggest you write a letter to

Microsoft UK Headquarters
Microsoft Campus, Thames Valley Park Reading, Berkshire, RG6 1WG

outlining your issues. Buying though from an ebay private seller may not go down too well with them - so maybe concentrate on the repair that has not been good enough.
Alternatively, you could try tweeting @xboxsupport - they don't usually like their failings been aired in public. :)
I hope you can get it sorted.

Hi, quickest way to get this escalated is to email - [email protected]

A member of their escalation team will be in touch with 72 hours of your email. Had dealings with them this week, if the first person you speak to (request a phonecall as best contact method) is not helpful, then request to speak to their supervisor and so on. It is against their internel protocol (like most decent sized companies) to refuse you access to speaking to the next in line.

Hope you manage to get it sorted.
