I don't know if anyone had same problem but my partner had contact lenses on and off for years and he decided to buy online as much cheaper thn Specsavers and wherever else he bought from.Anyway they need a current prescription or something, and Specsavers were awkward cos they were wanting his business and didn't want you to go elsewhere. They wnated to charge him for like checks up and such like aftercare appointment seven tho he knows fully about them,so he didn't bother buying online and he rarely uses contact lenses now anyway.
So yeh you need a current uptodate prescription and they may need an approval from the optician the website before selling you any,it was problems like this we had when he tried to buy online.

That's a good point actually.
You do have to get contact lense checks.
With Specsavers you get free checkups, if you buy from them.
If you have to do this independantly it will cost approx £25.

You could try here,

http://www.visiondirect.co.uk

I buy my lenses here.

There's loads of choice so you might want to go to someplace like Boots who will let you try different brands if you get a (free) eyetest from them.

You can also buy solutions here but you might get a better deal on soutions at Costco.

Hope this helps.

I have my monthly lenses from Boots Optitions and i pay £6.00 a monthly for lenses etc and that price also covers me for emergency spares, contact lense eye examination and the cost of a normal eye test!

Is that any good? Dailies are far better for your eyes than monthlies.
