Hi all.
I have decided to go fully digital and I had a few games on disc which were replaced with Digital version. However with Destiny the Collection I have a problem.
This version on the PlayStation Store is unavailable for me;
https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/destiny-%e2%80%93-the-collection/cid=EP0002-CUSA00568_00-DSTCOLLECTION001

However this one is available;
https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/destiny-%e2%80%93-the-collection-upgrade/cid=EP0002-CUSA00568_00-DSTCOLLECTIONUPG

Will that one work?

I'm not criticising your decision, but what was your reason for deciding to go digital? (Unfortunately I can't answer your question)

Reason for digital;
1. Game sharing. Can go half and half with my bro for Digital games.
2. No more swapping discs.
3. No need to buy disc and wait for it to arrive or pick up from store
4. Less clutter
5. Some games don't have disc release
6. Majority/some of the games are either;
- Buggy/broken (requires huge updates which makes disc pointless)
- Only multiplayer based and no campaign
7. Pre-order midnight 00:01 play ability.

I realised I don't see the need of collecting games and having a disc based collection. We all going to die at some point in life (I've gave my login details to my family if this happens to me so they can use my profile and play games). So enjoy the gaming while you can.

perhaps some people value time and space over queuing like a sheep in the supermarket for hours prior midnight release only to get it few quid cheaper?

but there are places like shopto and simplygames who can 99% of the time get the game to you a day before release and are usually £10-30 cheaper than psn

What if you don't like the game? You've just wasted 50 quid on psn. Where as disc form you can sell it on. Plus do people actually get that desperate for a game that they queue up still?

Did you own it on the ps3?
The upgrade is for people that owned the game on the previous gen consoles and is supposed to be cheaper.

but then your paying about a fiver to try a game, then paying anything upto 15 to get it digital so your paying 20 extra for a game, sometimes it can work like double trade ins at game but for every game hmmm

When I tried sharing with my brother in law I could play his games but he couldn't play mine. PS4 game sharing is ropey much better on the Xbox-One.

It works fine, it's probably more than likely due to the fact he hadn't changed the primary console.

some people have different priorities, you need to understand that. some value time and space others value money

With digital purchases you can also play any of your games remotely using PS4 Remote play app....
I always keep a PS4 controller in the bottom of my laptop bag for when I'm working away, stuck in a hotel room :)
