Copying bluray dvds?

if i had a bluray movie can i just use Nero in the normal way to copy a dvd?or would i need another software and a bluray blank disc? new to this so not really sure what to do

Yes you would need a blu ray blank disc. You cannot use normal dvds to make a blu ray

you would need a blu ray rewriter aswell

Cheers,thought i,d need the bluray discs but didnt realise i would actually need a totally new rewriter.how much can i pick one of them up?

at the moment its probably not worth the cost both writers and blue ray blank dvds are too pricey to make it viable imo

you would need anydvdhd , a bluray writer £140 ish and 25 gig blanks £4 each

and a few programs like tsmuxer imgburn there are a few more you will need if dealing with truehd audio

they are easy to copy with the correct hard & software

most movies will fit on a 25 gig blank if you strip all unwanted audio, subs menu etc without having to compress the video which on anything other that a quad core pc will take 36 to 48hrs
