CORDLESS HOME PHONE DO THE EXTRA PHONES HAVE TO BE PLUGGED IN...??

I am look at getting some new cordless phones for the home and didn't know if there are any available which only have to have the main set plugged in and the other work wirelessly (if thats the correct word) from it. Just thought this would save having the bases plugged into sockets all over the house.

I suppose the battery would need charging/replacing to keep it charged up. Any advice or recommendations please

no, most have bases as well which need electric to charge the phone. they do not need connecting to a telephone socket as well.

hope that clarifies.

woolworth were selling pack of 3 for 24.99 with answer machine also some phillips ones on here from Tesco halp price.
1st one plugs into your telephone line socket - all the others plug into ordinately plugs, they will have a base and you use the base just for charging

only the main one will need connecting to the telephone socket, but each base unit will need to be plugged into a power source for the handset to be charged

yes each additional phone needs electric so will need plug socket

thanks for this I just wondered if there was anything which didn't need extra base units to be plugged in.
