Could anyone please reccomend a second phone to tether with?

Hi,
As a temporary stop gap, I'm considering using a dedicated phone to tether the internet to my laptop. Could anyone please reccomend a cheap and reliable Android that would serve this purpose? Cheap is defined as sub £80 and possibly sub £100 at a push. Does it even need to be an Android or do I need to look for special features like DC-HSDPA?

You can probably glean I have only done brief research into the topic so any help would be appreciated :)
Thanks again

Does it have to be a phone? I would use a Mifi

Then use the £15 for 10gb offer from EE Payg

Thanks for the links. I had been switching between the two setups. One quick question, I was under the impression that I would need purchase a specific data sim to put into any mifi. Could I pop in a The One Plan 1 month SIM? Or would 3 cotton on and shut down the whole thing?

Depends on the network, 3 I think are quite sharp with the Mifi devices, so don't like your chances. Maybe someone else can confirm.

I'm currently using the EE PAYG offer in my Mifi with no problems.

yeah Three have really clamped down on MiFi use with standard sims, so I'd forget about that
both of our sims stopped working several months ago
