could someone please recommend a laptop deal for studying max of £200

My partner needs a new laptop for her college work, seen a few Black Friday deals for £300 but budget is maximum £200. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Many thanks

I'd recommend something refurbished off ebay something like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272099629137

If they just need a browser and word, then pretty much anything will do it. Does it need to be portable? Is battery life a big concern? I know when I am in school, you can use a laptop but you can't plug it in as it hasn't been PAT tested...?!

Last question - is it a gift? Would you consider eBay? You can pick up a decent refurb'd Dell or Lenovo well within your budget, and you could still pick up a student license for Office and come in under £200

What about something like this.

Can pay over 3 months with very as well. Think its on their black friday deals so will have to jump on it quickly if you want it. Wouldnt go for ms office through very though as can pick it up cheaper elsewhere.

It is a gift yes, I hadn't thought of eBay as was looking at new, but if refurbished are as good as new/come with warranty I would consider?

Have a look at argos refurbs on ebay, they come with 12 months warranty and mostly they are brand new just open boxes.
