Depends on size, rather than weight; Pharos are great, their deliveries are all done by UPS, I've used them for a long time. You have to put the dimensions, and value, into their quote website.

hiya, just used home-textiles from ebay today for a high priced item got insurance to £500 48hr delivery £10.99 they do a 24 hr delivery also for £11.99 with the high insurance.
so far so good, arrived to collect as promised(parsole farce) cant say on delivery yet as only left me this afternoon.
put a search in ebay for them.

Parcel works from ebay charge £14.99 for upto 30kg with £500 loss AND damage for nextday delivery they use parcelforce. Ive just booked them for a delivery to Germany for a CD seperates player I sold on ebay that cost £19.99 when Royal Mail would have charged £27.50 for a delivery within the UK so can't complain there!
Cant comment on service as ive not actually completed a transaction with them fully yet but whoever you choose make sure the cover is for both damage AND loss as some only cover physical loss of the package unless you pay extra for damage protection.

good point ive just reliased since its belfast northern ireland most dont offer a cheap service does anyone know of any. royal mail want £20

If the royal mail cover is £500 then I think thats a good price for a change as most couriers charge more than that!
