I saw an offer or reduced Setanta Deal on the (a'hem... sorry to mention it) other deal site this morning.....

Now let me think.... Try this

http://www.offeroftheday.co.uk/search.asp?search=setanta&x=10&y=8

Or www.offeroftheday.co.uk

Sorry if it isn't as good as you already know about - but it's a starting point.

Good luck!

We took out Setanta last year when it was on offer for £1 a month for 3 months. After this time I phoned up to say that we couldn't afford the full price. We were offered 3 months half price. Again after that we were offered another 3 months half price and told to phone again after this time and see what they could offer us! It's worth trying. I'm sure they'll offer you something.

DO NOT GET SETANTA

I signed up a few months ago when the package cost £10 and there was no contract tie-in. Setanta have just changed the pricing and T&C's for ALL customers so that the base price is now £12.99 per month and you have to give 60 days notice of cancellation.

That is a 30% increase in base price and removal of the no tie-in clause. I have spent the last two days trying to arrange cancellation of Shitanta. Yesterday their Cancellation line was "completely closed".and today I waited in a queue for 40mins before talking to someone. Apparantly they have a clause in their T&C's that enables them to alter the cancellation period to whatever they like.

It is not the £13 that annoys me. It is the price hike and the sneaky change of T&C's. I have now cancelled and will never go back.

Shitanta should be avoided at all costs. No wonder the England fans were singing "We hate Setanta" during last weekends Andora game.

They are a bunch of cheeky ******s, I'm trying to find a decent offer too, they rang me up a week or two ago and offered free connection fee and 3 months for £6.50 each, should have said yes at the time really but thought I could find a better deal.

Cancellation notice is 30 days, which is standard really, but you do have to do it via email or by writing a letter, and they cancel the subscription 30 days from receiving the letter/email.
