I have already had a few (not drunk) run-in's in my small kitchen and I wonder what happens if your exact one is obsolete come the time it either fails or you eff it up yourself.

(Also if anyone has one does yours leak into the pod rubbish bin as I'm not sure that is right but I fear returning it as there are none on the shelf!)

Thanks all in advance :-)

Similar value item as replacement or newer equivalent model. If no suitable alternative found, then usually a refund of the original purchase price (a very good way to get this is to argue that yours had a very unique feature that nothing else on the market has).

HOWEVER check the small print ON YOUR OWN COVER as the terms have changed over the years. Do not rely on anyone else to guide you from HDUK as the terms will be what you are bound by.

I think they offer a similar priced product or the price of the original item to spend in store if no longer available. Have a read of the T&Cs.

Happened me last year, offered me a cash value for instore purchase, as my tablet was no longer available through currys pc world wasnt to empressed....as I ended having to put cash to get a tablet of simular spec (as they go on cash value not specification)

Yes it's normal to get some water in the empty pod drawer - if you think about it, any water that it pumps and doesn't go through the coffee pod will stay there and drain out when you open the lever and the pod drops down, at which point it'll drain into the drawer as well.

Thanks everyone. If i do have a problem i won't get a replacement anywhere near as good then but hey ho at least it is something if he sh it hits the fan. I paid £99 so hopefully would at least get a machine and frother even though wouldn't be integrated like mine. If you can grab the Latissima+ at that I would highly recommend btw ;-)

I considered it being part of it water leaking thru.
