Hi

Am looking for flights to Cyprus from Manchester departing on the 9th or 10th of August '07, one ticket return around 7 days later and one ticket one way only. Any cheap deals out there, or recommend an airline????

Hi littlejenny03 - welcome to HUKD :)

There are a variety of airlines that fly from MAN to Cyprus - which airport are you looking at going to - Paphos (PFO) or Larnaca (LCA)?

British Airways (Operated by GB Airways), First Choice, Thomsonfly, Monarch, XL and Thomas Cook all fly from MAN, but if you know which airport, i'll find some deals for you

Hi
Yes going to Larnaca, flights seem to be disappearing fast and I am desperate for flights, but money as always is an issue

Thanks!

Could you go on the 8th for a week? If so, flyjet (booked through xl.com and using the code BRISTOL) Have a return price (Wed 08 Aug 2007 - Wed 15 Aug 2007 for 7 nights) of £296 for one person.

Which way is the single?

Opodo recently just dropped there price to £207 per person and if you use this voucher DCOKE39 it then becomes £197 per person and if you want to book more than 1 person, just do it individually.

Remember to book through Quidco as well to receive cashback on the flight but these prices may only be available over the phone, so try out both methods.

Hope that helps. :)

New to this site and stuff not sure what Quidco is? I will try Opodo, my chances seem to be slim as flights are going fast!

Thanks

Quidco is a cashback site which offers you the full commission for whatever you buy online at practically any online store.

The easiest way to explain is that when you buy something at a store, the salesman gets a percentage of whatever they manage to sell to you but basically, when you go through www.quidco.com you are your own salesman, selling to yourself, so the site will give you your commission to yourself on everything you buy.

Checkout www.quidco.com for more information and i hope that proved helpful.

No worries, i just hope you love your holiday. :)

I'm from North Cyprus and have been there on several occasions and even though you're going to the south, the people on both sides are so lovely and friendly at all times plus the south is more modernised but expectedly it's more expensive when it comes to spending money.

I highly recommend that you cross over to the north and south to check out everything the island has to offer (it's now quick and easy to cross over) and you'll save some money on food and attractions.

You have to also make sure you checkout the beaches in Cyprus, i promise you, the UK (maybe even europe) will never be able to offer any beaches like the beaches over there, it's so amazing.

Remember that the heat can become unbearable, so make sure you are prepared.

Hope it all helps and i'm more than happy to help you in any other way.

What kind of work are you looking for because anything to do with properties and building has a big gap in the market?

Accomodation is really cheap out there especially up north, my father is actually thinking of staying with our family on the turkish side and work in the greek side, that way, costs are low and the salaries are higher.

I hope your daughter loves it, i remember visiting as a kid and i wanted to live on the beaches.......... if only i could. :giggle:
