she has so many books already, we buy three or four a week in the charity shops, but may still look into them as daddy loves her to have special books that she can only have daddy read to her, as she has a tendancy to draw the secong your back is turned or get over enthusiastiac and turn pages too fast, ending in tears and tears too.

and stuffed toys, i swear to god she has hundreds. she has a book shelf full of them plus, ones she takes to bed, plus the whole top bumk of her bed is just soft toys and then she has more in her toy box upstairs and downstairs too. she's a tad spoilt he he.

also like the idea of a duvet set, she still has a cot duvet at the moment, because she went into a bed at 14months and i was worried she wouldnt be able to lift a full single duvet, but maybe its time we let her have a big girl set :( growing up very fast.

thanks all

How avbout something more long lasting. Someone bought my son a small tree for 1st birthday. We marked his height on it every year, we left the house when he was 25, he knows it is still there...and more mature than he is!

I got a thomas tmusical train off ebay - its a larger size train - takes cds on top and has a wagon which strore the cd's. each cd is double sided and plays a different tune..The cds are just small kids style plastic things and the train takes a battery and moves too. My 2 and 3 year old love it.....they also love making things in their mini kitchen, their dolls house, their favourites though are their outdoor trampoline and their water and sand tables but think you said you had large items...oh they have a ride on choo coo train too which they like...they love trains!
