has anyone used a pixel fix app on their smartphone before?

i have a few light spots (bright white)not sure if dead or stuck but read that you can dl an app that will test and attempt to repair

thought it might be worth a try but not sure if it might damage more

so i could just play that on my youtube app on my phone?
i only see the pixels on a white background so when will i know f its fied, should i let the whole video play or just keep checking every so often
could it cause more damage?

Yep, it looks like that is essentially the same as the apps you have linked. I don't think flashing colours quickly can do any damage. The idea is that if the pixel is stuck, changing the colours quickly might cause it to become unstuck. A bit like if you shake something that is stuck in real life.

Whether it works depends on whether the pixel is stuck or actually dead. I'd perhaps leave it running over night and see if it makes any difference.

it android.
no obvious but maybe happened in the rain one day , cant remember off hand.
its white light spot & only visible on a white background.
