Can do better, I got £26.99 a month with all of the above, and get them to waiver the activation.

So they are charging you £50 activation fee to stay with them? Line rental is about £19 per month so £12 per months seems reasonable for the speeds you are getting but I would still shop about to see if any better deals out there....
#3
Cant understand why they would charge an activation fee when you are already a customer.

Thats what I.m paying for Unlimited Infinity 1 after latest price increase so not a good deal ,why charge for activation fee ???
#5
Pitiful speeds considering what the romanians get. One of my video editors gets a 90mb speed for 12 euro a month and its unmetered!
#6
They would charge an activation fee if changing from adsl broadband to (Infinity) fibre broadband. If already on fibre broadband then there should be no activation fee.

why anyone would stay with BT for internet if they have Virgin in their street is beyond me.

different ISP's in different areas have a different outcome . personally i am with virgin and from time to time i slow connection speed on any device or generally the internet has been crap because they is a tv issue in the area which seems to be at least once a fortnight but my neighbour has BT and thinks they are great . they'll be plenty pro BT and against BT . they same will apply to virgin and any other ISP.

thats a good deal im paying 33 quid a month broadband only

Possibly because virgin are robbers who have no loyalty to existing customers. Rant over

None of them have any loyalty to existing customers. But Virgin are just as likely as the others to lower their/your prices when you threaten to leave.

You're probably right, currently on my 30 days notice to quit virgin. Will be interesting to see what they offer

They will reduce your price, I'm paying less for more now than I did 2 or 3 years ago.

I'm coming to the end of my current deal with infinity 1 which was £10+line rental, was hoping to get another deal similar to that (_;)
