Looking to get 2 people to Athens on the morning of the 23rd May and back in the early morning of he 24th May.

Connecting flights and detours are welcome. It doesn't matter.

To give you an idea, when I wen to Istanbul 2 years ago, direct flights at the time would have cost well over £1000. But I went through Bulgaria and Malta ang got 2 people to Istanbul and back for under £500 on the day and day after the final.

Charter deals also welcomE.

Thanks.

There will be a number of travel agents in the Liverpool area who will charter their own aircraft to fly to Athens, these will mainly be independent agents, not the likes of Thomas Cook or Thomson. Might be worth giving a couple a call, if they aren't chartering an aircraft I am sure they will know who is.

Would go with a ticket or without a ticket if it was my club,as i think your find most true supporters would.Just to be part of history and soak up the atmosphere.

You're half right to be fair. I was in Istanbul and I had friends who came the final without tickets and they enjoyed themselves. But I also had friends who stayed in Liverpool and they say it was the most unbelievable evening in Liverpool, so it's a question of personal taste really.

Luckily, I've always managed to get a ticket and I don't know if I could travel all that way and be locked out of a stadium.

The atmosphere in both Athens and Liverpool that evening will be amazing.

I will be enjoying myself in Liverpool :D

Booked the next day off............

Have to disagree with this, this would be a idiotic route for a liverpool fan to take unless group of 20 or more. Italians, ac milan fans. 50/50 if you would end up in athens

I've just sorted mine with sportops.com for £499, flying out from Liverpool at 4.45am on 23rd, flying home at 3.30am 24th.

Again, it's expensive but it's the going rate unfortunately.

Not booked a flight yet but can get a charter flight on a day return for £479

Just holding out until I see the selling arrangements for the final tickets, I have been to all the champions leage home games this season including the qualifier so hopefully I will qualify for one
#19
Selling arrangements won't be officially announced until Tuesday but basically if you've got 7 credits (all homes plus 1 away) you'll qualify, if you just have 6 credits like myself then you go into a ballot irrespective of whether you're a season ticket holder or just a fancard holder, probably about a 1 in 3 or lower chance of success in the ballot.

The Haifa games don't count towards credits.

Parry put up an announcement about it today on the official website

Gutted as I have only 6 games on my fancard as I have not attended any away games for the champions league so I will go in the ballot

will probably end up watching the game in Liverpool now as an not guarenteed a ticket as I don't have the money spare for a flight if i dont get a ticket as i go on holiday in August and need every penny i can get

Arghhhh.

I have 4 fancards with 6 games on. Bad ballot results for me though.

Only got 1 ticket. Anyone want to sell me theirs if they can't make it?:-D

Will pay good money.

Thanks.
