Decent Digital Camera - £50?

I've seen a lot of cameras around - billboards etc - for around the £50 price mark - and am wondering which one is the best deal right now?

It's for a birthday present. It really must have a rechargeable battery, my experience with standard batteries such as AA in cameras has been awful. Should be pretty intuitive to use, too, like a kodak.

So yeha - any suggestions please? Any will be greatly appreciated.
