Decent Home printer with reasonable ink costs

Hello, For a long time i have been in need of a printer but i think its about time i actually bought one and i'm wondering what the best type is for ink costs?

If anyone could recommend a good reliable printer then i would be very grateful. I've been put off a lot of models because of the high ink costs.

So far i think epson's have the lowest ink cost?

I am also looking for a printer with low cost ink.. I've got a canon that was cheap but the ink is so expensive... black + colour is over £30 when on offer.. any recommendations please
cant remember the model but there was a tv ad on recently about kodak printers that had black and colour ink replacements for under £`s a link to one with quite good reviews and the gadget shows no.1 printer! ;)
I would also suggest the Kodak printer. From Rayman With student discount, if you can. I think its 12.5% making the printer £52.50. Ink costs around £15 maybe cheaper by pound or two elsewhere :),-Copier,-Scanner/Product?extcam=agg_gps_prod_feed_pf&istCompanyId=724692e0-2f99-4874-9565-6fc82074fe86&istItemId=pxxpqlr&istBid=t
You can get cheap ink cartridges from here for most printers.
Inkjet printers in some respects appear to give you low running costs especially if you use "clone" inks or refills as is being suggested. But overall costs if you only need black and white in my experience a Laser printer is lower costs. I posted a laser printer some time back from Argos @ £49.99 and my mother in law bought one. It comes with a starter toner which they say is good for about 600 sheet (more than one ream) but she has actually gone through nearly 4 reams now and she is still on the starter toner!! SO for a £49.99 purchase very good value for money...and its a copier and scanner as well!
Here is a link to it today @ 79.99

Personally I would choose a laser over inkjet anyday as they are fast and reliable. All my photo prints I now go to Asda X)
