I am due an upgrade and been holding out for the Note 7 but it is pricey!. I have yet to contact EE directly to see what they can offer but I doubt there's going to be much room on the price.

Anyone seen any other deals?. EE is not doing the VR directly

just to add, i am looking at atleast 20gb data.

Three have got a deal 30gb data, unltd mins and texts, £99 upfront for £48 pm.

They also give £50 amazon voucher plus quidco or topcashback at £90+. Is that a good deal?

if you need that much data then it seems a fairly good price assuming you can get it? dont think you'll get the cashback (or at least the same rate) on an upgrade, though, but i could be wrong.

No decent deals on the Note 7 because Samsung have simply lost the plot with pricing...it's a £400 phone with £300 of marketing spend passed onto the customer...

whilst i agree it's overpriced, its no different to the Apple philosophy and you dont see people crying about how expensive iPhones are

yes does not come with caahback on upgrade. still worth i think as if you split the 48 up and say 20 for sim with 30gb 4g data, unltd mins and text and 28 for phone which works out to 672 and is retailing at around 700, seems a fair deal. With the 99 upfront i could ring them up and try sorting something out :). could get some back by selling vr. Plus £50 amazon voucher. I might just upgrade it today. Will cancel in 14 days if find cheaper elsewhere :)

i would agree with that, upgrade whilst you can and if on the off chance you find a cheaper deal you can always cancel. im sure it will be 14 days from when you get the phone so realistically youve probably got a month to look around.

thats the logic im going with for vodafone anyway :)

cheaper to but it out right Bd get a sim only deal
#19
sell your current phone, and put some money on top and buy it contract free, then buy a sim only deal.
it's so much wiser, better, and you have so much freedom.and can always have the latest phone with putting a some money on top every year or so if you want to.

I had an iPhone 6 contract with EE,after 1 year Note 5 came and I wanted that,so I sold the iPhone 6 for a very good price on ebay, put alittle on top and bought the note 5,after 6 months decided I prefer iOS soagan sold the Note 5 and bought an iPhone 6s.

I will never tie myself to a 24 month contract..2 years of paying £57 a month..even £40..after 8 months this phone will drop in price significantly and after 16 months it will be completely outdated but you will have to pay premium monthly payments for it untill 24th months.

I upgraded with EE. got 12gb data unlimited calls and text. £40.99. just threaten to leave. ask for PAC/PUK code. they'll give it to you. wait half hour or so and a specialist team contact you and offer you the "good" deals.
