What do you think is the best in regards to components and price?

Also, I have a few more questions. Firstly, does anyone know if Dell supplies a Windows Vista CD with the laptops? I'd prefer to use XP for a while and upgrade to Vista later on. If I bought XP bundled with the laptop, will that give me the right to upgrade for free?

Secondly, I've read alot about Vista needing a good graphics card. Can the graphics cards of these two laptops handle Vista comfortably?

Thanks very much. Regards.

If a sub £400 lappy is your budget then these are the best deals at present....there's not much between them..the 6400 has a longer life battery so that may sway you...it also has some multimedia buttons whereas the 1501 is basic...also on the latter you'll have only a 90 day collect and return service.

You do not get a Vista CDand if you opt for XP you'll not get any vista upgrade...and yes the spec will run vista...it is sold with home basic but will also manage the home premium version but am not sure if it's available on these deals.
