I am looking to buy a digital camera from argos. the one i have looked at is the Samsung S1065 10MP:|category_root|Photography|10198049/c_2/2|cat_10198049|Digital+cameras|10198098.htm

The features are high-end think for 80, but i was wondering if anyone has one and is i any good? Or are there any others around the 80 pound mark on the argos website. The reason i need to buy it from argos is that..they have a good 3 insurance policy, which costs less then 20 pounds for an 80 pounds digital camera.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The Nikon S520 is £89.99 from Currys at the mo and you can get 3 yrs instant replacement for £19.99 if you want that too. It's a Lithium Ion battery too which will save money in the long run too. Only 8MP, but I'd argue probably better image quality that the Samsung.
Keep away from this camera!!! My mate had it,poor picture quality, spots on pictures, esspecialy in darker scenes.Bad on batteries,it takes only 80 pictures with new.

Thanks for your help. I have now decided between either

Kodak M863 8MP Digital Camera - Black or
Sony Cyber-Shot S730 7.2MP Digital Still Camera.

Which one do you think is better? I recognise that the kodak is a 8 megapixel compared to the sony one. The main use for a digital camera for me is taking pictures at arsenal games, so i need a camera that can take clear pictures when players are running and not to have blurred pictures.

Thanks again :)
Hi, does this cyber shot take AA batteries? If it does stay well clear as my daughter has one and it eats batteries. Duracell or rechargeables, she can't keep up with it. Try jessops they have a fuju finepix which is half price at the moment. Also usually codes for money off on this site. I should also say that not all AA cameras use them so quickly. We have had two different olympus models and they have been fine, it's just the Sony which is a problem.
