My old Pure DAB radio has gone kaputt, so I'm on the lookout for a new one. Max spend is £50. Anyone got any suggestions? I did a search and some deals from last year came up and most of the codes seem to be invalid now :(

mushyg99 i am just after a normal DAB radio - no CD player
FM/AM would be a bonus but not essential as DAB reception is good round here.

Hi Mushy,

I'm in the same boat as Shaggy. Looking for exactly the same thing. If you can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Cheers

would be useful if you posted the full details of who is selling them , details of the radio itself and a internet link or phone number???

Anyway, I bought myself the Argos Mikomi one posted earlier in this thread for £24.99. I have 30 days to change my mind if i find a better one :)

And for those claiming current DAB radios will be rendered useless when the new DAB v2 is introduced, well I couldnt care less at this price :whistling:

BTW when will Dab v2 be introduced?

Here's some info - but basically it's a way off yet...

"However, the DAB+ contagion is spreading, and Which? now has a piece: What the new DAB+ standard will mean for digital radio fans.

Which? says "Don't be put off buying a DAB radio,"

bought this morning. Testing it now. Sound quality not brilliant but at £25 you can't go wrong and reception is very good.
