as 'onlyme' has said if you scan them onto you computer and then transfer them onto the SD card. I've got 1 for my in laws too

Many multi function printers (mines a HP 309a) will scan onto a memory card without a computer :)

High street shops will do it too, but it can work out cheaper to buy your own scanner if they have lots of photos to transfer.

if you can find the original negatives, if you look on the Maplin website they have a negative scanner for about 50 quid, however if you need to scan both Prints and Negs then buy a flatbed scanner that can also scan negatives.

I have the Canon Canoscan 8800f. It scans perfectly every time and its fast too! Even betetr you get a copy of Photoshop elements for free :santa:
