I'm after a washing machine as cheap as possible.

Minimum requirements:
Washer/Drier combined
1300 spinspeed

What's the difference on a 1600 machine?? I think that's what we had last time.

(We've just had a bit of a problem with ours. I can't fix it. Drum doesn't seem to be going around...)

What's the difference on a 1600 machine?? I think that's what we had last time.

I think you would feel a noticable difference in how dry the clothes are when you take them out of the machine - for example if you just did a wash cycle and were going to hang them out on the line (No way - going outdoors - scary...)

But a lower spin speed would mean they take longer to tumble dry, but on the other hand, it's more gentle on your clothes.
