I am toying with idea of taking wife and two boys 9 and 5 to disney next year or possibly year after.

What is the best way about this? Buy seperate im guessing. Maybe around last two weeks of august/early september. Happy to sort a villa but think the hotels at disney might be a good bet as dont want to drive if avoidable.

World or land is fine just would like to hear of suggestions please.

Been 5 times, best time I've found so far is Mid August, lots of local schools are open then as it's too hot to be off. Spring break is one to avoid.

First time we went we stayed on Hwy 192 in a samll Holiday Inn - fine but still ends up costing for food.

Since then I've done Villa's either on the 192 or further down the Interstate.

Days are usually, up and out to the park, do the park until we're done in then back to the villa for a dip/cool off and some food. Then perhaps back out to the park in the evening.

Buy the passes in the UK before you go. Food in disney parks is very expensive and generally I find eating out in the states quite dear, so villa's work well

Pace yourself, one day on (a park) one day off. Don't wait to start though, start on day one (Sea World or something light) to get you in the swing. Plan your days before you go (avoid park known busy days)

Best holiday on this planet - boy's age they'll love it, and if they don't you will - so who cares!
We have just got back from a 2 week holiday from 14th Aug. It was fabulous. The best site for help and advice is www.thedibb.co.uk
